Duties

  • Perform all bookkeeping tasks
  • Handle accounts payable and expense accounts
  • Bill and manage accounts receivable, keep track of receivables and collect on them
  • Manage client credit limits
  • Book gains and losses on US dollars
  • Balance account statements
  • Manage exchange rates
  • Handle customs brokerage reconciliation
  • Prepare bank conciliation statements
  • Help with monthly closing
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare year-end audit reports together with the accounting firm
  • Process assessment notices
  • Send invoices and account statements
  • Handle filing for accounting
  • Manage administrative records according to sound management principles
  • Perform all related tasks

Required Qualifications

  • DCS in accounting, administration, or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency with Office Suite software
  • Experience working with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) software package in a professional setting an asset
  • Being bilingual (English and French) an asset

Duties

  • Perform the repairs and adjustments described on repair orders efficiently and precisely in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance
  • Establish the cause of any malfunction and perform the necessary repairs
  • Identify defects in equipment based on customer complaints and personal inspection
  • Examine assigned equipments to determine whether further safety and maintenance is required
  • Inspect and road test newly delivered equipments to detect damage or missing parts and assess driving operation
  • Notify the technical advisor or foreperson right away if further work is required, the prescribed repairs or adjustments are not required, or repairs are not possible
  • Install optional equipment as requested by the customer or dealer
  • Identify replacement parts in parts catalogues so that they can be ordered
  • Stay up to date on technical service bulletins (TSBs)
  • Keep workshop clean and organized
  • Take care of and be responsible for all dealer tools and manuals, keeping them in their proper places and in the same condition as when they were received
  • Keep track of, understand, and adhere to federal, provincial, and municipal rules and regulations (e.g., regarding hazardous waste disposal)

Required Qualifications

  • DEP in heavy equipment maintenance (completed)
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • High-level understanding of the heavy equipment industry and CIMI’s products and services
